A life changing trip
in the US as a teen

It all started when I moved to the US at 16 as an exchange student coming from France. I didn't speak a word of English, lacking self-confidence and, having just been kicked out of my high school back home, I was pretty lost to be honest.

This is when I discovered combat sports for the first time, with wrestling and boxing. I found my true passion. These disciplines not only boosted my self-esteem but also instilled in me the values of discipline and resilience.

I realized how the saying “once you have wrestled, everything else in life is easy” was true and powerful. It later fueled my rigorous career in investment banking and private equity. Boxing, in particular, taught me to confront fears and always get back up.

From a passive boxing bag to a motivating coach

When I returned to France, I was convinced that combat sports could profoundly impact lives, as it had impacted mine for the better.

Years later, working long hours as a young investment banker, I exercised on a boxing bag every Sunday evening to let go of the stress and keep up with the pressure. But session after session, I was getting more and more frustrated as the bag was passive, lacking the spirit of a personal boxing coach. I practiced for years but felt stuck, never progressing anymore.

To fully accomplish the potential of my boxing sessions, I realized I had to turn the bag into a coach, offering real guidance and motivation. Not just for me, but for so many others who could benefit from the transformative power of boxing as well! So I took a leap of faith and left my finance career to bring this vision to life.

Along the way I had the chance to meet Nicolas, a tech-savvy boxing enthusiast who agreed to join the adventure as co-founder and Chief Technical Officer.

Together, we started merging boxing with technology to redefine fitness, with a true belief that building resilience, confidence, and strength can be life changing. It is an exciting journey, and  we are really happy to share with you what the entire BoxCo team is building.
